Samuel Calvin Robinson

Samuel Calvin Robinson, of Covington, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 at Piedmont Newton Hospital. He was 82 years of age. Samuel was born in Rices Landing, PA to John and Irene (Bise) Robinson.He was a loving husband, daddy, granddaddy, grandpa, and brother. Samuel was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and camping. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Samuel is preceded in death by both parents, sister Gladys Kitchens, and brother John Robinson.He is survived by his wife, Martha Ann Harper House of Covington; sons and daughter-in-law, Mike Robinson of Villa Rica, Brian and Tracy Robinson of Stockbridge; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Steve Wilkins of Conyers, Vicki and Roy Goldman of Covington, Deborah and Frank Sticher of Covington, Tracy and Jeff Dawson of Oxford; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Emma Ewart of Rhode Island, Mable Weiler of Lincoln, NE, and Gerri Pollock of Carmichael, PA.Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Macedonia Baptist Church in Oxford with Pastor David Shelton and Pastor Larry Cheek officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow immediately after the service in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Wheeler Funeral and Cremation Services, 11405 Brown Bridge Rd, Covington.
