Mary Virginia Reagin Braswell

Mary Virginia Reagin Braswell, 90 of Covington, passed away at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Virginia was born in Conyers GA to the late Julius and Bernice Williams Reagin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by OL Braswell. Virginia is survived by her daughters Mary Jean Ellis and Rita Payne, grandchildren Kevin Ellis, Chad & Kara Payne, Kyle & Jennifer Ellis, great-grandchildren Grayson Payne, Kayla Ellis, Haley Ellis, Wyatt Payne, Brandon Ellis and Brea Ellis. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother and AKA Nana, and a friend to everyone she met. She enjoyed the challenge of a good crossword puzzle, word search or watching her favorite late night shows like Johnny Carson and Benny Hill. She had a passion for embroidering, and a love for music. She watched current events on TV, reading the newspaper, and caring for her furry babies. She loved Kit Kat candy bars, coffee, and ice cream, cooking for her family and doing a little fishing from time to time. Virginia was a very caring person, and would help anyone in need. She will be deeply missed. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2pm at Wheeler Funeral Home located at 11405 Brown Bridge Rd. Covington, GA. The family will receive friends from 12pm-2pm.
