Julius Sheril Jones

Julius Sheril Jones, 88, of Conyers, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Southern Plantation in Loganville. He was born in Birmingham, AL to the late Julius and Anyce Maxwell Jones. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Julius was a wonderful patriarch to the entire Jones family. As a Southern Baptist minister, he spent over five decades guiding his congregations and assisting the community. The family will mourn his loss, but are at peace that he is reunited with his late wife and daughter. He is now in the Kingdom of Heaven experiencing the glory which he spent so many years telling others about.He is preceded in death by both parents, his loving wife of 63 years, Anne B. Jones, daughter, Lynn Elizabeth Jones.Mr. Jones is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Susan Jones, Larry and Marilyn Jones; daughter, Cheryl Vitale; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many extended beloved family.Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 5:30 pm in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Martin and Rev. Bob Lindsay officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until time of service.
