Jeffery Scott Easley

Jeffery Scott Easley, 64, of Toomsboro, GA, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at his home. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Leota Estes Easley, sister Billie Marlene Wayne, first wife Harriette Easley, and his beloved uncle and aunt, John and Rosemary Estes, who become his legal guardians at the age of 4.He enjoyed fishing, always talked about God, loved cooking and always had a joke or something to say. Scott was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.He is survived by his children and their spouses, Amy and Alexis Haynes of Decatur, GA, Sharon and Kenneth Mathis of Tennille, GA, Lincoln Godfrey of Swainsboro, GA, Mabel and Sammy Stone of AL, Connie Johnson of Midville, GA; niece, Starla Waddell of TX; nephews, Guy Younger of TX and Scott Spraggins of TX; brothers and sisters, Johnene Shorter (Floyd), Sherman Estes, Penny Estes (Billy), Paul Estes (Sherry), Joseph Estes (Sherry), Susan Ziesman (Kurt).Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Bishop Donald Abernathy and Pastor Mark Abernathy officiating.
