James "Johnny" Floyd Bowman

James (Johnny) Floyd Bowman 79, of Conyers passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Magnolia Hospice. He was born in Lithonia, Georgia to the late James C and Dora Mae Milan Bowman. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Ann Bowman, son John Bowman, brothers Charles and Jimmy Bowman, and his sister, Carolyn Anderson. He is survived by his daughter Michelle Bowman, sons Michael (Stacy) Bowman, Brian (Mary) Bowman, daughter-in-law Tina Bowman, grandchildren Adrienne, Anna, Brady, Jonathan, Connor, Logan, brother Jerry and sisters Judy Davidson, Joann Eaton, Joyce Arnett. Johnny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and always had a helping hand to those in need. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for more than 50 years. Johnny enjoyed spending time with his son Brian at the gun range. His hobbies included going fishing, fast cars, wrestling, and working in his yard. He loved his family very much, and we rest assured that he is with his beloved Ann, and his son John. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 6pm-8pm at Wheeler Funeral and Cremation Services 11405 Brown Bridge Rd.
