William Michael "Mike" Bloodworth, Jr., passed away unexpectedly at his home, Tuesday, March 5, 2024. He was 57 years of age. Mike was born in Sioux City, IA to the late William Michael Bloodworth, Sr. and Nancy (Stevens) Bloodworth.Mike was a very loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a great storyteller who could light up any room, just by walking in it. Mike was very athletic in sports, he loved fishing, throwing horseshoes, and bowling.He enjoyed listening to music, playing the drums, writing music, and playing his guitar. Mike was a machinist by trade and could weld anything. He was ambitious, creative, and could do anything he put his mind to.Mike loved his family, friends, and his dog Penny beyond measure. His presence is greatly missed, but his impact and memory will live on.Mike is preceded in death by his father, William Michael Bloodworth, Sr.His memory will forever be cherished by his mother, Nancy Bloodworth; son, Reid Bloodworth; wife and mother of his son, Sarah Bloodworth; sister, Melissa Pugh; niece, Hannah Pugh; nephew, Hunter Bloodworth; uncle, Stephen Bloodworth; special family, Ginger, and Gary Bloodworth; best friend, Roy Bell; and an abundance of other loving family members.
