Suzan Rebecca Pike Beaver

Suzan Rebecca Pike Beaver, 69, of Brunswick Georgia, peacefully passed away on June 12, 2021, surrounded by her beloved family after a short and courageous battle with cancer.Suzan was born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 1, 1951, and is preceded in death by her parents, James and Laverne Pike, and her precious furry companion, Maggie. Suzan is survived by her former husband, and friend, James Beaver, her brother Jimmy Pike of Decatur; her three children, Lisa & Ty Burnworth of Bethlehem, James & Christy Beaver of Covington, and Angela Burke of Brunswick. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren, whom she adored more than anything in life.Her greatest pleasure in life was time spent with family. She was an amazing mother and grandmother. She loved shopping and decorating, she had a profound love for animals, and enjoyed spending her time working at the Westin on Jekyll Island. She was a kind and compassionate person, who will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her and love her.A Celebration of Life will be held at Wheeler Funeral and Cremation Services in Covington, Georgia on June 22, 2021, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Barry Long officiating. The family will greet friends and family from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm prior to the service.Read Obituary
