Shelby J. Deerman

Shelby J. Deerman, 80, of Conyers, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023, at her home. She was born in Centre, AL, to the late Herman and Jessie Lee Hunter. Shelby is preceded in death by her husband, John Hansel Deerman, Sr.; sons, Wayne Deerman and Tony Deerman; several brothers and sisters. She was a member of Honey Creek Baptist Church, Conyers for over 30 years. Shelby enjoyed reading her Bible, going out to eat with her granddaughter, Heather and her children and friends.Shelby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.She leaves behind to cherish her memories, son and daughter-in-law, John and Trina Deerman, Jr. of Conyers; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Marlene Alvares of TX.The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, December 4th, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service. Funeral services for Shelby will be held Monday, December 4, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. John Deerman, Jr. officiating.
