Born in Monroe, GA to Eugene Edwin Johnson, Jr. and Tammy Lynn George, Rachel attended Faith Tabernacle in Conyers and was very spiritual.Her hobbies allowed her creativity to flow and they included writing music, poetry, drawing and singing with a guitar. She also enjoyed playing pool. Rachel loved being on the go. Her favorite places to visit were the mountains and the beach, but she just enjoyed seeing new things.Rachel was a loving fiancé, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. Her survivors include her fiancé Charlie Compton of Mansfield; children, Jillian, Savannah, Tallulah, and Remi; father and step-mother, Ed and Lisa Johnson of Conyers; mother, Tammy George of Covington; grandparents, Bonnie and James Berry of Conyers, Ron and Becky George of Cumming; brother, Jason Johnson of Cumming; many friends and family. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed.Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.Our staff is committed to taking care of our guests and families that we serve.
