Richard K. Andrews, 83, of Covington, GA, passed away August 18, 2018 at home. He was born in PA. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Mildred Andrews; his former wife of 50 years, Grace Andrews; and son, Richard H. Andrews, who proudly served his country.Richard is survived by his wife, Bernice Andrews, of Covington, GA; son Michael (Jane) Andrews of PA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.He proudly served his country as a dedicated Staff Sergeant E6 – Company C – 16th Special Forces Group (Airborne) 1st Special Forces. He also served faithfully and honorably in the United States Navy. Richard was a member of Old Country Church, McDonough, GA.A Graveside Service will be held, Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 11:00 am at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Tanner Cline officiating.
