Martha Lanette Hodges

Martha Lanette Hodges, 74 of Covington, passed away at Piedmont Newton Hospital on Friday, December 22, 2023. She was born in Covington, GA. to the late Marion Lott and Marianne Hackett Lott. Lanette leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 56 years Lamar Hodges, her sons Todd Hodges, Kyle (Gina) Hodges, Kerry (Stacie) Hodges, grandchildren Kristen and Dalton Hodges, great grandson Grayson Mobley, her siblings Debbie Duncan, Monty (Jennifer) Lott, Marshall (Nancy) Lott and many other loving family members. Lanette was a loving wife, mother, nana, and a profound friend to so many. She enjoyed going to the mountains, reading, and watching the Georgia Bulldogs (Go Dawgs!). She loved her furry babies Lilly and Lola, and spending quality time with her family and friends. But most of all she loved Jesus and serving others. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 11am at Covington Mills United Methodist Church in Covington, Georgia with Pastor Kimbrough Pace officiating.Read Obituary
