Jeffrey Thomas Spears

Jeffrey Thomas Spears, 60, of Covington, passed away, Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Piedmont Newton Hospital. Jeff was born in Atlanta, Ga to the late Morrow J. Spears and Miriam Tate Spears. He was a loving husband, father, son and uncle. Jeff was a very outgoing person and he enjoyed the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing. Jeff was a hard worker with a very creative mind. Using that creativity, he invented several tools. He had a great sense of humor, was a great story teller and loved popsicles. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, David Spears. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Janice Spears; mother, Miriam Spears; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael W. and Negin Moon, and James K. and Ginger Moon; along with many nieces and nephews.
