Jeffrey Haas Haney

Jeffrey Haas Haney 65, of Covington, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Jeff was born in Clyde, NC to the late William and Betty Haney. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Glenda, and his nephew Scott. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Denise Alsup Haney, daughters and sons-in-law Connie and Danny Bilbrey, and Ronda and Derek Depkin, grandchildren Cameron, Chelsea, Jordan, Colton, Jaxon, Nicholas, and Cady. Jeff was a loving husband, grandfather a.k.a “papa”, and a friend to everyone he met. He worked for the City of Conyers for 26 years, and was very proud of his job. Jeff enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales and to different Walmart’s with his wife Denise. He loved his grandchildren, and his furry babies. If you knew Jeff, you knew he was an avid NC Tar Heel’s fan, evidenced by the décor of his home. “Go Heels”! He will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11:00 am at Milstead Baptist Church, 1613 Main Street, NE, Conyers, GA. 30012.
