Greta Dene Clack 85, of Covington, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 27,2020 . Mrs. Clack was born in Tennille, GA. to the late James and Winnie Vola (Amerson) Cook. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her precious husband Frederick Lee Clack Sr., her daughter Cindy Fortney, and son David Clack. She leaves behind her children, Lisa Kramer, Fred Clack, Catherine and son in law Joe Mantheiy, brother Billy Don Mullis, and many other loving family and friends. Mrs. Clack enjoyed her hobbies of collecting antiques, and certain glassware, traveling and swimming in the ocean. She was such a giving sweet person she loved jewelry, and sharing it with her friends and family. She made sure you never left her home with an empty stomach, and loved to feed all animals even some strays. When her children were young her home was where the neighborhood hangout. Dene is greatly loved and will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 7pm at Church 213 located at 1675 Hwy 213 Covington, GA 30014 with Pastor Stan Patterson officiating.
