Edward Hinely

He was born in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Richard and Ovella (Hand) Hinely while his dad was in Southwestern Seminary. He was reared up in the South Georgia area. Edward Hinely was a very loving dad and Papa. He was lovingly called “Papa Ed” by many. He was a very Godly man, and he loved the Lord very much. His passion in life was his four grandsons and children with special needs. Edward was a long-time member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Pitts, Ga. where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and softball coach. Edward retired from teaching in Newton County Schools where he taught RVI, Special Education, and Social Studies. Ed was a member of Social Circle Baptist before his passing. His hobbies were fishing and reading spy books. Edward was greatly loved by his family and will be greatly missed.Edward leaves behind to treasure his memories his wife of 23 years, Paula Hinely; two sons, Stephen Buckley, and Michael Buckley; Four grandsons, Bradley Buckley, Bennett Buckley, Brayden Buckley, and Brycson Buckley; Two sisters, Pam Albright (Robert), Annette Walker (David), and a brother, Tom Hinely (Deborah) and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services for Mr. Hinely will take place in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral and Cremation Services, Saturday, December 23, at 11:00 am with Pastor Kale Rush and Rev. Tom Hinely officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 am to 11:00 am prior to the service.
