My sincere condolences to the family. I truly hope the scripture at John 11:11, where the Bible likens death to a peaceful sleep, can provide some peace and comfort at this time.

I have always described Uncle Donnie as "the best of us." He will remain that forever. There is a big hole in our family now, but we can take solace that his life was well lived with the greatest love any man can have. He walked this earth with the compassion and strength the rest of us can only aspire to.
Farewell Uncle Donnie, you are loved beyond words.

May God's grace and peace provide comfort and strength in this terribly trying time. It is life changing to bear the worldly loss of a parent and no words can adequately express the heartfelt sympathy we feel for you in this time of grief. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I will pray for the repose of Donald's soul with confidence that he is now at peace, and will pray for the Johnson family for the strength and consolation that comes from the assurance of God's enduring love.
God bless you,
With deepest sympathy,
Danny and Cathy Shea
A massive piece of our lives and a part of our hearts are gone now. Our brother-in-law has been a part of our lives since Tina was around twelve and I became a part of the family about ten years later.
Superlatives are not adequate to describe the character of this man. His loving kindness, generosity, patience, loyalty and willingness to be helpful have been surpassed by none.
We loved you dearly Donnie and still do. We will miss you until we also pass away.
May you rest easy now and forever.
