Brenda Hughes Morris

Brenda Hughes Morris, 71, of Conyers, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Douglasville, GA to the late John and Dovie (Howard) Hughes. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, AKA “Maw-Maw”, and “Grand Ma”. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, going to the mountains, fishing and watching the Hallmark channel. Brenda loved entertaining her family and friends. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Morris, her sons, Scott Morris and “little” Robert Morris, and siblings, Nancy, Frances, Glenda, Thomas and Bobby. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Phillip Call, Jr. (Heidi), Wayne Call (Melanie), Todd Call (Heather), Kim Henry (Ronny); grandchildren, Cameron, David Lee, Brandon, Hunter, Haleigh, Nina, Sophie, Shawna, Jeffrey and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Emily, Rylie, Scott, Autumn and Adashay; sister, Theresa Taylor; many nieces, nephews and friends. A Gathering of Friends will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 2: 00 pm – 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral and Cremation Services. Due to the current COVID-19 regulations, our staff is committed to taking care of our guests and families that we serve. Please understand we will be following the State’s COVID guidelines.
