Betty Jo Snyder

Mrs. Betty Jo Snyder, 71 of Social Circle passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle. Mrs. Snyder was born in Anniston, AL to the late Russell Lee and Mary Lou Thomas Brooks. She was a member of the Quilting Bells in Social Circle and also enjoyed crocheting. Betty was predeceased by her son-in-law: Ricky Leonard.Betty is survived by her husband of 26 years, Robert Allen Snyder of Social Circle; children and spouses, Russell and Judy Hayes of Tampa, FL, Clifton Botts, Jr. of Dahlonega, Debra Leonard of Calhoun, Teresa Jo Botts of Gainesville, Robert William Snyder of Social Circle, Cheryl and John Reyes of Locust Grove, Ginger Snyder of Stockbridge; brother, Johnny and Sheila Brooks of Dalton; sisters, Mary Smith of Calhoun, Ann Lawrence of Sweet Water, TN, Evelyn and James Bartlett of Riverdale, and Sarah Turner of Riverdale; 8 grandchildren and spouse, Kira and Marc Clerc, Rusty Hayes, Alex Leonard, Katelyn Norrell, Breanna Norrell, Cole Norrell, LaKrista and Josh; 2 great grandchildren, Amelia Clerc and Myles Clerc; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral services for Mrs. Snyder will be held on Tuesday, June 27th, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Pastor JC Studdard and Rev. Clint Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Springs Church Cemetery in Social Circle. The family will receive friends, Monday, June 26th, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
