Melba and I were schoolmates, and some of my fondest memories of her were of her playing the piano. What a God given talent she had. The old piano would just rock.
Sympathy and prayers for your comfort, as I know you children will miss her sorely.

Sweet Jean,,,,I worked with Jean at GBI for many years, and she was always a joy. She truly cared for those she worked with, and wanted to always know what was going on their lives. She was calm, talented, and had a laugh to remember. Jean was always kind to all of us. She will be missed!

Dear Kevin and Peggy, Our family is at a loss for words to express our grief for you. Losing a parent is one of the biggest losses that can be suffered by anyone. May you find God's presence with you as you journey through your grief. Jean always spoke about the two of you with the utmost love and affection. You two meant the world to her.
We are very grateful you included Jean when attending our family gatherings, because we got to know one of the the sweetest women we've ever known. She always had a nice smile, and friendly greeting when she saw us. She was such a pleasure to have around. She will be deeply, deeply missed. We hope you find some strength in the love, and warm embrace of family and friends. We love you, and we are truly sorry for your loss. Love, Bryan, Carolyn, Crystal, Katie, and Brenda.
I remember so many great things about Jean. I worked with her at GBI for a time. We ate lunch together every day while I was at HQ. She was so funny and one of the best storytellers ever! When Jean began a story, you stopped whatever you were doing or saying in order not to miss a thing. I really enjoyed knowing and working with Jean and remember her fondly. Rest in peace, Jean; you've earned it.
