Mr. James R. Hodges

James Robert Hodges, 83, passed away at his home on Thursday July 3, 2014. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Troy Hodges. He was preceded in death by his first wife Irene Hodges. He proudly served in the US Army. He is survived by his wife Jo Ann Coker, three nieces Mary Ann Johnson, Jeanie English, Vickie Daniels and four nephews, Carlin Hodges, Dwight Hodges, and Wayne Cronan, Gary Cronan he also had two step-children Tracey Coker and Paula Meeks, and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral Service at 2:00pm Saturday July 5, 2014 in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Lynn Head, Rev. David Kyle and Rev. Larry Carter officiating. Family will receive friends Saturday July 5, 2014 from 12 -2 pm before the service. Interment will be at Lawnwood memorial Park.Read Obituary
