Philip & Kathy Fowler here. We are so sorry that we will not be able to attend the service today. The Collier family has been a part of our lives for many, many years. Philip wants to share this funny story that he had with Calvin. Calvin, George Cox, Russell Thomas, and Philip had gone duck hunting and were scattered around a beaver pond in Shady Dale sitting on buckets. Of course, George had already shot a duck while the others were trying to be quiet on this very early morning. All of a sudden they heard something and a deer scaled right over Calvin's head. Startled, he and the bucket fell backwards jamming his shotgun barrel into the mud. That morning duck hunt was over as the men all - except for Calvin - broke into gales of laughter, Poor Calvin didn't think it was a bit funny as he dug his mud-filled gun out, but the other guys could not get over the sight of Calvin and the deer. They all good-heartedly went back to their trucks and their lives, but it remains as a warm memory even today with Philip.
We love you guys and are so sorry for your loss. Kathy
